I write, edit; proof read and rewrite copy for small and very small businesses. I work
with them and help them to turn ideas they have for growing their business into
promotional content and articles for their Website and good copy for a newsletter;
press release; direct mail; sales letter; brochure or radio Ad.
EXPERIENCE:
I have been a broadcaster and journalist for 40 plus years. In that time: I covered
news for the likes of the BBC and the Voice of America (VOA). (2) I was a director of
news, programming and sales at the Caribbean Communications Company. (3) I
also worked for years as a reporter for REUTERS News Service, the Caribbean
News Agency, more recently BizzReport and now Inside Industry. I have good
communication skills, and my background includes years of work as Chief
Information officer with the Government of Montserrat. I also worked for a while as
Coordinator of Information Services for the government of Antigua and Barbuda.
AWARD-WINNING
In 1977 H.M.the Queen made me a Member of the British Empire (MBE). The award
was for my outstanding work in the fields of broadcasting and journalism.
